Abstract

A method for production of hydrogen comprising: i) providing one or more permeable vessel, the permeable vessel containing a plurality of entrapped metal particles; ii) causing an acid to permeate the permeable vessel, wherein the entrapped metal particles react with the acid to generate hydrogen, and wherein the metal particles are exposed to a reducing atmosphere.
