Abstract
The invention relates to a photovoltaic solar module comprising at least one solar cell with an optical radiation concentration device, said module being connected to a drive unit for controlled tracking that is dependent on the position of the sun. According to the invention, the solar cells of the module have an increased starting voltage with the standard measurements of industrially manufactured silicon cells and the radiation converter is designed in such a way that with the solar cell and radiation converter positioned on essentially opposite sides of the module, the light spot obtained permits a concentrated illumination up to the edge of the solar cell.
