Abstract

 本発明は、特定の粒度が得やすい炭酸ジルコニウム粉末を原料とすることにより、分散性の優れた特定の粒度分布をもつ六方晶リン酸ジルコニウム粉末を容易に製造する方法である。  アルカリ金属イオン、アルカリ土類金属イオンおよびアンモニウムイオンから選ばれる少なくとも1種のイオン、およびリン酸イオンを含む水溶液中に炭酸ジルコニウムを存在させ、湿式熟成後、乾式条件下で加熱することにより特定の粒度分布と高い結晶性を兼ね備えた六方晶リン酸ジルコニウム粉末を製造することができる。
