Abstract

 酸素の立方最密充填構造を有するリチウム含有遷移金属酸化物を含み、前記リチウム含有遷移金属酸化物の組成が、式(1):         Li[Lip(NixMnyCoz)1-p]O2  で表され、x、yおよびzはそれぞれニッケル、マンガンおよびコバルトの元素比率を表し、0.2+y≦x≦0.7、0.15≦y、0.05≦z、x+y+z=1および0≦p≦0.1である、非水電解質二次電池用正極活物質。
