Abstract

圧延機(1)の上流側に配されてマグネシウム板(M0,M1)を加熱する上流側加熱炉(2)と、圧延機(1)の下流側に配されてマグネシウム板(M0,M1)を加熱する下流側加熱炉(3)との間で、マグネシウム板(M0,M1)を往復圧延する第1圧延工程と、加熱されたマグネシウム板(M0,M1)を搬送・保温する上流側保温装置(5)と、加熱されたマグネシウム板(M0,M1)を搬送・保温する下流側保温装置(6)との間で、上下流側各端部を保温しつつマグネシウム板(M0,M1)を往復圧延する第2圧延工程と、を有する。本発明のマグネシウム熱間圧延装置並びにそれ用いたマグネシウム熱間圧延方法及びによれば、マグネシウム合金の熱間圧延中の温度変動による製品の品質低下を防止することができる。
