Abstract

 GaN系半導体レーザ1は、単一偏光であり、第1の波長を有する第1のレーザ光を出射し、光共振器30は、レーザ光の入射により励起され、第1の波長とは異なる第2の波長を有する第2のレーザ光を発振する固体レーザ媒質を含み、偏光スイッチ6は、第1のレーザ光及び第2のレーザ光の少なくとも一方の偏光方向を切り換えることで、光共振器30から出射されるレーザ光の波長、又は光共振器30から出射される複数のレーザ光の強度比を変化させる。この構成により、複数のレーザ光を有効利用することができる。
