Abstract

 発光素子の発熱を円滑にかつ効率的に放熱することを可能にするとともに、発光素子の寿命を長くすることができるようになり、更には発光素子の輝度ムラを防止することを可能とし、熱伝導性、放熱性及び輻射性などに優れた発光装置を提供する。  発光装置は、複数の発光素子及びカバー体を保持する放熱器と、複数の発光素子に電力を供給する口金とを備えている。放熱器は、発光素子の光軸方向に向けて貫通した放熱孔と、放熱器の外部空間に面する外周に形成された放熱フィンとを有している。複数の発光素子から発生した熱は、放熱孔及び放熱フィンを介して流れる空気の自然対流により放熱される。
