Abstract

 本発明のPDPは、ガラス基板上に表示電極および誘電体層が形成された前面板と、基板上に電極、隔壁および蛍光体層が形成された背面板とを対向配置するとともに周囲を封着して放電空間を形成したPDPであって、表示電極は少なくとも、銀およびガラス材料を含有する金属電極層を含む複数層で構成し、誘電体層の酸化ビスマス(Bi2O3)の含有量が、5重量%以上25重量%以下であって、金属電極層のガラス材料の酸化ビスマス(Bi2O3)の含有量が5重量%以上25重量%以下であることを特徴とする。
