Abstract

【課題】汎用性に優れ、薄型で、頭部支持状態から傾倒して格納状態とするときの操作負荷を軽減して軽快に行うことが可能で、ヘッドレストに起因する異音や雑音を予防できるヘッドレスト及びヘッドレストを備えた車両用シートを提供する。 【解決手段】 　背凭シートに対して起立させた頭部支持状態と、該頭部支持状態から傾倒して格納状態とすることが可能なヘッドレストにおいて、横軸部１２を有し背凭シートＳ２の上部に装着されるピラー１と、ピラー１の横軸部１２と回動可能に係合されるヘッドレストフレーム２と、ヘッドレストフレーム２を一方側へ付勢するヘッドレストフレーム付勢手段３と、ヘッドレストフレーム２とピラー１との回動を阻止可能なロック手段と、ロック手段を操作し、横方向に摺動するラチェットレバー４４と、ラチェットレバー４４を付勢するラチェットレバー付勢手段４５と、を備え、ラチェットレバー付勢手段４５は、横方向に摺動するラチェットレバー４４に対して、所定角度をもって付勢している。
