Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein holographisches Projektionsdisplay zum Rekonstruieren einer 3D-Szene sowie ein Kodierverfahren,das eine Verbesserung der Steuerwerte der Kodierungdurch einen iterativen Fouriertransformations-Algorithmus einschließt. Das Projektionsdisplay enthält ein Abbildungssystem, welches -wenigstens zwei Abbildungsmittel aufweist, wobei einem ersten Abbildungsmittel (1) zum Abbilden des Beleuchtungsmitttels (8) und zum Fouriertransformieren von im Phasenmodulator (6) modulierten Istwellenfronten ein zweites Abbildungsmittel (2) folgt, das die Funktion eines Bildschirms erfüllt, wobei die Ebene des Bildschirms eine Fouriertransformationsebene für die Berechnungen mit dem iterativen Fouriertransformations-Algorithmus und die Ebene des Phasenmodulators (6) die andere Fouriertransformationsebene ist, und zum Abbilden der mit den Steuerwerten kodierten Wellenfront in den Sichtbarkeitsbereichvorgesehen ist, und -zusätzlich ein Filter (7) aufweist, der einen Transformationsbereich (10) festlegt, der die komplexen Werte der Sollwellenfront der 3D-Szene aufweist, an welche die transformierten komplexen Werte der Istwellenfronten durch die iterative Berechnung approximiert sind.
