Abstract

　振動やノイズの発生を招来することなく耐久性を向上させることができる車両用ディファレンシャル装置を提供する。 　ピニオンシャフト５６のピニオンギヤ６０を支持する支持部６８およびそのピニオンギヤ６０のピニオンシャフト５６が嵌め入れられる嵌入穴６６の少なくとも一部が、外周側ほど小径となるテーパ面７０、７２であることから、駆動力がディファレンシャルケース５０からピニオンシャフト５６およびそれに回転可能に支持されたピニオンギヤ６０を介してサイドギヤ５８ｌ、５８ｒへ伝達されるときにおいて、ピニオンギヤ６０はそのサイドギヤ５８ｌ、５８ｒとの間の噛合い反力に従ってピニオンシャフト５６の軸方向外側へ移動させられるので、トルクの伝達負荷が増大するほどピニオンシャフト５６とピニオンギヤ６０との間の嵌合クリアランスＣが拡大されて高い耐久性が得られる。
