Description

Description
CHOPPING BOARD
Technical Field
[I] The present invention relates to a chopping board for chopping foods, and in particular to a chopping board capable of achieving an easier cooking and portability.
[2]
Background Art [3] Generally, a chopping board is formed in a rectangular plate shape and is made of a hard and inflexible material such as wood or plastic so that a certain food is placed thereon and chopped. [4] However, as the conventional chopping board is repeatedly used, a knife may damage the upper surface of the chopping board, resulting in many knife marks thereon, so that a sanitation problem occurs at the chopping board. In this case, it is needed to exchange with a new chopping board. [5] In the case that chopped foods are moved from the chopping board into a pot or a certain container, it is needed to lift up the chopping board and to move the chopped foods thereinto, so that there are many inconveniences. [6] In addition, a chopping board is needed in order to cook outside, for example, during a camping, etc., but it is impossible to carry the chopping board because it is hard and big size. [7]
Disclosure of Invention
Technical Problem
[8] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a chopping board capable of overcoming the problems encountered in the conventional art.
[9] It is another object of the present invention to provide a chopping board capable of achieving an easier cooking and portability in such a manner that a chopping board is formed of an upper plate and a lower plate, and the upper plate is made of a smooth material, and the lower plate is made of a hard material.
[10]
Technical Solution
[II] To achieve the above objects, there is provided a chopping board that includes a smooth and flexible upper plate; and a hard lower plate, wherein at least one fixing protrusion is upwardly protruded from an upper edge portion of the lower plate, and a fixing groove is formed at the upper plate at a portion corresponding to the fixing protrusion of the lower plate, so that the upper plate is detachable to the upper side of the lower plate. [12] In the present invention, the upper plate has a plurality of fixing protrusions formed at the corner portions of the upper plate. [13] The fixing protrusions are formed at the left and right portions of the upper side of the lower plate. [14]
Brief Description of the Drawings
[15] The present invention will become better understood with reference to the accompanying drawings which are given only by way of illustration and thus are not limitative of the present invention, wherein; [16] Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating the construction of a chopping board according to a first embodiment of the present invention; [17] Figure 2 is a view illustrating a state that an upper plate is engaged to an upper side of a lower plate according to the present invention; and [18] Figure 3 is a view illustrating the construction of a chopping board according to a second embodiment of the present invention. [19]
Mode for the Invention [20] The chopping board according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. [21] Figure 1 is a perspective view illustrating a chopping board according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown therein, four fixing protrusions 110,
120, 130 and 140 are protruded from the corner portions of the upper side of a relatively thick lower board 100 with certain heights. Here, the fixing protrusions 110,
120, 130 and 140 may be integrally formed during an injection molding of the lower plate. [22] The lower plate 100 is preferably made of a hard material such as a wood, resin, plastic, metal, etc. for thereby preventing any transformation during a cooping operation. [23] The upper plate 200 is designed to mount on the upper side of the lower plate 100 for thereby forming one set. The upper plate 200 is preferably made of a certain material such as a smooth resin or plastic. The upper plate 200 includes fixing grooves 210, 220, 230 and 240 at the portions corresponding to the fixing protrusions 110, 120, 130 and 140 of the lower plate 100.
[24] Figure 2 is a view illustrating a state that the lower plate 200 is fixedly mounted on the upper side of the upper plate 100. The fixing protrusions 110, 120, 130 and 140 of the lower plate 100 are inserted into the fixing grooves 210, 220, 230 and 240 of the upper plate 200, so that the upper plate 200 is stably mounted on the upper side of the lower plate 100 without any movement thereon.
[25] The upper plate 200 is flexible and has a certain thickness. When the chopped foods are moved into a certain container in a state that the upper plate 200 is assembled to the upper side of the lower plate 100, the upper plate 200 is separated from the lower plate 100.
[26] Since the upper plate 200 is made of a smooth flexible material, when moving the chopped foods into a certain container, the both sides of the upper plate 200 is flexibly bent inwardly, and then the chopped foods are more easily moved into a certain container, with the curved portion of the upper plate 200 being matching with the entrance of the container, for thereby preventing the foods from being fallen to the outside of the container.
[27] In addition, since the upper plate 200 is made of a smooth flexible material, when it is needed to cook outside for an outdoor cooking, the lower plate 100 is not needed. Namely, the upper plate 200 is separated from the lower plate 100, and only the upper plate 200 is carried for the outdoor cooking.
[28] As the upper plate 200 is repeatedly used, a knife may damage the upper surface of the upper plate 200 for thereby causing many chopped portions on the upper side of the chopping board. In this case, since there is a sanitation problem on the upper plate 200, only the upper plate 200 is exchanged with a new upper plate 200, without exchanging the lower plate 100.
[29] Since the upper plate 200 should be hygienic, the upper plate 200 is preferably fabricated using a certain material such as resin, etc. having silver of 3-10%, more preferably 5%, so that the upper plate 200 has disinfections and antibiosis.
[30] In addition, in the case that the upper plate 200 is made of a certain material mixed with resin, silver and tourmaline agent, since anion is generated from the tourmaline agent, it is possible to enhance disinfections and antibiosis.
[31] Here, the lower plate 100 may be made of the same material as the upper material
200 in order to have the same disinfections and antibiosis.
[32] Figure 3 is a view illustrating a chopping board aooording to another embodiment of the present invention. As shown therein, fixing protrusions 310 and 320 are protruded from the left and right side upper portions of the lower plate 300. In the upper plate 400, fixing grooves 410 and 420 are formed at the portions corresponding to the fixing protrusions 310 and 320 of the lower plate 300
[33] Therefore, when mounting the upper plate 400 on the upper side of the lower plate
300, it is possible to stably mount the upper plate 400 on the upper side of the lower plate 300 by inserting the fixing protrusions 310 and 320 into the fixing grooves 410 and 420.
[34]
Industrial Applicability
[35] As described above, in the present invention, the chopping board used during a cooking operation is separated into an upper plate and a lower plate. The upper plate is made of a smooth flexible material, so that it is easy to move the chopped foods to a certain container. In addition, only the smooth and flexible upper plate is carried when cooking outside, so that it is easy to carry the chopping board, and the disinfections and antibiosis are enhanced in the present invention.
[36] Furthermore, when rinsing the chopping board, it is needed to separate the upper plate from the lower plate for thereby achieving an easier rinsing operation, so that it is possible to enhance the convenience of use.
[37] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
