B E S C H R E I B U N GDESCRIPTION
The invention relates to a method for transporting refrigerated goods such. B. hot cement clinker through a grate cooler, with a fixed cooling grate through which cooling gas flows, above which several rows of adjacent conveying elements and driven by below the cooling grate are arranged transversely to the cooling goods transport direction and which are moved between a forward stroke position in the cooling goods transport direction and a return stroke position. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method.
Taschen zur Auf- nähme und zum Festhalten von Kühlgut zu versehen, welches dann eine Verschleiß-Schutzlage für das darüber gleitende heiße Kühlgut bildet (EP-B- 0 634 619).Grate coolers are used in the stone and earth industry to remove the goods previously burned in an oven, such as. B. directly cool cement clinker or other mineral goods immediately afterwards on the cooling grate. In addition to traveling grate coolers, the pushing grate cooler, in which the grate system consists of a large number of alternating fixed and movable grate plate carriers, on which several are provided with cooling air openings and essentially from bottom to top of cooling air, are particularly widespread for the purpose of transporting the hot refrigerated goods over the cooling section flow through grate plates are attached. Seen in the conveying direction, stationary rows of grate plates alternate with rows of grate plates that can be moved back and forth, which are fastened together via their corresponding back and forth grate plate supports on one or more longitudinally movably driven thrust frames. Due to the jointly oscillating movement of all movable grate plate hen the goods to be cooled, e.g. B. the hot cement clinker, transported in batches and cooled. In order to protect the grate plates from thermal-mechanical overloading, it is known to provide the top of the plate with hollows or pockets for receiving and holding refrigerated goods, which then forms a wear protection layer for the hot refrigerated goods sliding over them (EP-B - 0 634 619).
To avoid the wear problem with the sliding grate cooler in the overlap area of adjacent moving and non-moving rows of grate plates, caused by cement clinker abrasion and jamming in the overlap area of the grate plates, an alternative to a conventional grate cooler is e.g. B. from WO 98/48231 a grate cooler type is known in which the cooling grate through which cooling air is not moved, but is fixed, with a plurality of rows of adjacent reciprocating bar-shaped conveying elements being arranged above the fixed grate surface transversely to the direction of cooling goods transport a forward stroke position in the refrigerated goods transport direction and a return stroke position, so that the reciprocating movement of these bar-shaped conveying elements in the bed of goods to be cooled successively moves the good material from the cooler start to the cooler end and thereby cools it. In this transport method, the conveying capacity is decisively influenced by the difference between the cement clinker volume moved in the conveying direction with each preliminary stroke and the clinker volume undesirably moved against the conveying direction during the return stroke movement. In this type of grate cooler, the cross-bar-shaped conveying elements are fastened to the top of vertical drive plates aligned in the longitudinal direction of the cooler, which extend through corresponding longitudinal slots in the cooling grate over practically the entire length of the cooler, so that the drive-shaped drive elements from below the cooling grate move the bar-shaped conveying elements in the refrigerated goods bed. and be moved around. It goes without saying that it is complex to seal the cooling grate loaded with refrigerated goods against rust diarrhea at the long passage slots of the drive plates and to keep the material wear that occurs within limits.
The invention has for its object to provide a grate cooler type of the latter type with a novel drive and control concept of the conveying elements, the conveying capacity and the efficiency of the grate cooler being increased and the wear problems being reduced.
According to the invention, this object is achieved with the measures of claim 1 and with a grate cooler with the features of claim 6. Advantageous developments of the invention are specified in the respective subclaims.
In the method according to the invention and in the device according to the invention for transporting refrigerated goods such as B. hot cement clinker through a grate cooler with above a fixed cooling air flow through the cooling grate arranged rows of conveying elements which are movable between a forward stroke position in the refrigerated goods transport direction and a return stroke position, the individual conveying elements, the z. B. are pin-shaped and protrude above the cooling grate like rake tines from below into the refrigerated goods bed, in each case controlled by push rods lying in the refrigerated goods transport direction, which are each sealed in bushings passing through the cooling grate and optionally guided. The sockets assume an approximately horizontal position or a position with a small angle of inclination to the horizontal. The push rods with the conveyor elements attached to them are driven from below the cooling grate via linear drives. The entire cooling grate has practically no openings or gaps more that would have to be laboriously sealed. The risk of fine bulk material penetrating into the annular gap between the bushing and the respective push rod is minimized, and it can be further reduced by passing part of the cooling air through the cooling grate as sealing air through the gap between the bushing and the push rod, the The sealing air also serves to cool the sliding seat. Instead of using the sealing air, it would also be possible to install an exchangeable, wear-resistant ring sealing element.
Another advantage of the invention is that, due to the fastening of the conveying elements to the guided push rods, the conveying elements can be moved individually and / or in groups in a controlled manner. As an example, it is stated that the conveyor elements of a row are moved forward together during their forward stroke movement and are not moved back together during their return stroke movement, but are moved back in at least two successive steps, in each of which only a part of the conveyor elements, e.g. B. only every second conveyor element in a row is moved back. This means that during their forward stroke movement, the adjacent pin-shaped conveying elements in a row are positioned at a small distance from one another, so that the grains or fragments of the cement clinker get caught between the conveying elements when they are moved forward together and not only a virtual one, but also one forms an actual refrigerator drawer front. So that no or only a comparatively small cement clinker volume is moved during the return stroke movement of the conveying elements, the conveying elements are not retracted together, but in at least two successive steps by first z. B. only every second conveyor element returns to the original position, while the remaining conveyor elements are moved back only in the second step. In this way, the distances between the conveyor elements during the return stroke movement (compared to the preliminary stroke movement) significantly increased, the bulk material such. B. the cement clinker can no longer hold between the pin-shaped conveying elements and it is not conveyed back. In this embodiment, half of the push rods and thus half of the conveying elements projecting approximately vertically from bottom to top into the bulk material can be moved over two mutually independent oscillating frames, which are mounted in the grate cooler below the grate surface.
In the grate cooler according to the invention, the conveyor mechanism for transporting the refrigerated goods is completely independent of the ventilation of the cooling grate. The conveying mechanism can serve to actively influence the distribution of the cement clinker in a way that is not possible with clinker coolers known to date. The length of the pin-shaped conveying elements seen over the cooler length and / or the cooler width can be chosen differently in order to optimize the conveying properties over the cooler length and cooler width. It would also be possible not to arrange the conveyor elements in complete rows, but to offset them against one another or to omit entire areas of the grate surface. It would also be possible to equip individual drive series or sections with their own small drives in order to distribute, accelerate or brake the cement clinker in certain areas or zones of the clinker cooler. This technology can be a very effective addition to the ventilation system of the grate cooler, since the cement clinker is transported to the location of the cooling air in the manner according to the invention.

Top view of the grate of the grate cooler of Figure 1 with its conveyor elements.
Schutzlage gebildet wird, über welche das abzukühlende heiße Gut mittels angetriebener Förderelemente 14 bewegt wird.FIG. 1 shows the grate cooler according to the invention with a fixed, ie. H. not moving cooling grate 11, via which the items to be cooled such as. B. hot cement clinker in the embodiment is movable from left to right in the direction of arrow 12 from the refrigerated goods inlet to the refrigerated goods outlet. The cooling grate 11 is composed of individual fields or grate plates, which are advantageously equipped with chilled goods troughs or chilled goods pockets 13 for receiving and holding chilled goods, so that when the grate cooler is operating, a lower pre-cooled good bed layer or protective layer is formed on the static cooling grate 11 , via which the hot material to be cooled is moved by means of driven conveyor elements 14.
Above the cooling grate 11, several rows at a distance from adjacent conveying elements 14 are arranged transversely to the cooling goods transport direction 12, which in the exemplary embodiment are pin-shaped and project above the cooling grate like rake tines approximately vertically from below into the cooling goods bed, not shown. To drive these conveying elements 14, they are each connected to push rods 15 lying in the cooling goods transport direction, each of which is sealed in a bushing 16 passing through the cooling grate 11 and possibly guided and driven from below the cooling grate, as by the double arrow 17 is displayed, namely from a forward stroke position in the refrigerated goods transport direction to a return stroke position and vice versa. If the bushing 16 is exclusively a sealing bushing, the push rod 15 is guided and supported via the push rod end 23 below the cooling grate 11. In this case, the push rod 15 is guided / supported from its seal.
As can be seen from the top view in FIG. 2, the conveying elements 14 are in each case one row during their forward stroke movement in the direction of arrow 18 to form a refrigerated goods push front with a narrow distance 19 from one another and during their return stroke movement in arrow direction 20 to minimize a push front with a larger distance 21 positioned from each other what z. This is achieved, for example, if the conveyor elements 14 are not moved back together during the return stroke, but rather are moved back in at least two successive steps, in each of which only a part of the conveyor elements, eg. B. only every second conveyor element 14 of a row is moved back to suppress the build-up of a refrigerated goods drawer. In this way, the delivery rate of the grate cooler according to the invention is kept high.
The cross section of the pin-shaped conveying elements 14 does not have to be cylindrical. The cross section can also be approximately wedge-shaped, so that a pronounced front thrust surface is effective in the conveying elements during the forward stroke, while during the return stroke the conveying elements slide through the bulk material bed like a wedge knife with comparatively little resistance. To increase the service life, the push rods 15 themselves can be provided with a wear protection layer 22, at least in the longitudinal region with which they emerge from their respective bushes 16 above the sliding grate 11, as well as the pin-shaped conveying elements 14. The ends 23 of the push rods 15 lying below the cooling grate 11 can be connected to a plurality of oscillating frames which are mounted below the cooling grate and are connected to linear drives.
According to a special feature of the invention, the conveying elements 14 in the grate cooler according to the invention can be moved individually and / or in selectable groups between their forward stroke position and their return stroke position in order to optimize the properties of the grate cooler as well as the distribution of the cement clinker over the cooler width and the cooler length to be able to, so that the thermal efficiency of the grate cooler according to the invention is high. This is because the grate cooler according to the invention makes it possible to distribute, accelerate or brake the hot cement clinker in specific areas or zones of the cooler.
B. 120 mm betragen.
As a numerical example, it is stated that the individual rows of the pin-shaped conveying elements 14 are arranged at a distance of approximately 0.5-1.5 m in the longitudinal direction of the cooler. The conveyor elements 14 can, for. B. be 120 mm high, which corresponds to about twice the height of the grate plate pushing edges in the conventional moving grate cooler. The stroke length of the moving pin-shaped conveying elements 14 can, for. B. 120 mm.
