Abstract
Cette invention concerne un purificateur d'eau capable d'empêcher des protozoaires résistants chlore tels que giardia et crytosporidium de se mélanger à l'eau, d'extraire des substances dangereuses telles que le trichlorométhane et de fournir de l'eau purifiée en permanence et pendant une période prolongée. Ce purificateur comprend un réservoir circulaire (1) avec une entrée d'eau brute (2) et une sortie d'eau purifiée (3), un passage pour eau brute (4) disposé sur la paroi intérieure du réservoir et communiquant avec l'entrée d'eau brute, un élément cylindrique disposé sur le bord intérieur du passage d'eau brute, composé d'un filtre en matière non tissé (7) et d'un média filtrant, un tuyau collecteur d'eau (5) situé au centre de l'élément et communiquant avec la sortie d'eau purifiée, et un élément de retenue (14) qui enveloppe le support de filtrage et le maintient en place. Le filtre en matière non tissée comprend un filtre proprement dit avec des pores d'un diamètre moyen compris entre 2 et 4 νm. Le média filtrant comprend du carbone particulaire actif renfermant des éléments liés à de l'argent.
