Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung sowie ein Verfahren zur Verbrennung eines Brennstoffs (6) in Luft. Die Vorrichtung umfaßt einen Ringkanal (4) zur Führung der Luft in einem bezüglich einer Achse (1) meridionalen Strom (5), ein Drallgitter (9) zur Aufprägung eines Dralls (10) auf den Strom (5) und ein Mittel (11, 12, 16) zur Einmischung des Brennstoffs (6) in den Strom (5) unter Bildung eines im wesentlichen homogenen Gemischs. Weiter vorhanden ist ein Mittel (13, 17, 18) zur Verzögerung eines bezüglich der Achse (1) radial außenliegenden Teils des Stroms (5) gegenüber anderen Teilen des Stroms (5). Die Vorrichtung ist insbesondere gestaltet als Vormischbrenner, beispielsweise zur Verwendung in einer Gasturbinenanlage.
