Abstract

Procédé et appareil de traitement de tissus en laine à mailles tubulaires dans lesquels le tissu est traité en une longueur continue sous forme tubulaire. Le tube tricoté est premièrement prérétréci puis il est gratté. A l'aide de la surface grattée située la plus à l'extérieur, on sature le tissu d'un liquide puis on applatit et on comprime le tissu saturé afin d'exprimer le liquide libre du tube, et on l'achemine dans un séchoir à deux étages. Dans l'étage initial, le tissu est séché à l'air jusqu'à obtention d'une teneur en humidité sensiblement inférieure à 40 %. Avant d'introduire le tissu dans le second étage du séchoir, on relève la teneur en humidité, par exemple dans une atmosphère de vapeur humide, jusqu'à 40 %. Le séchage final a lieu en plusieurs étapes afin d'assurer un traitement uniforme du tissu dans toute sa longueur, de manière à réduire la teneur en humidité dans le tissu à moins de 8 %. La combinaison illustrée de l'appareil permettant de procéder au traitement du tissu comprend une unité de grattage (41) permettant de relever les fibres situées sur une surface du tissu, un appareil de foulardage (61) permettant d'aplatir le tissu tandis qu'il est saturé, un séchoir à air du type à tambour (71) permettant de sécher à l'air le tissu dans le premier étage, un étage intermédiaire à mansarde de vaporisage (81) situé avant l'étage final du séchoir, ainsi qu'un séchoir de longueurs continues compartimenté du type à tambour (91) situé dans l'étage final.
