Abstract

Un dispositif (10) de séchage séquentiel des deux faces (8A, 9) d'une bande de papier (1A) comprend un premier tambour de séchage (2A'') et un premier feutre (4A) qui s'enroule autour du premier tambour de séchage (2A'') et chauffe une première face (8A) de la bande (1A). Le premier feutre (4A) et la bande (1A) s'enroulent autour d'un premier tambour d'entraînement aval (3A'''). Un premier rouleau de guidage (5A) guide le premier feutre (4A) en l'écartant du premier tambour d'entraînement (3A''') et un deuxième tambour d'entraînement (7A) est placé de façon adjacente au premier tambour d'entraînement (3A'''). Un deuxième feutre (4A') s'enroule autour du deuxième tambour d'entraînement (7A) et un deuxième rouleau de guidage (12) guide le deuxième feutre (4A') vers le deuxième tambour d'entraînement (7A) de telle façon que le premier et le deuxième feutres (4A, 4A') forment entre eux une section de transfert de bande (14) dans laquelle la bande (1A) est prise en sandwich entre les feutres (4A, 4A') lors de son passage. Un deuxième tambour de séchage aval (6A) est placé de façon telle que la bande (1A) soit prise en sandwich entre le deuxième feutre (4A') et le deuxième tambour de séchage (6A) afin de permettre le séchage de l'autre face (9) de la bande (1A).
