Abstract

Se describe un sistema de aplicación antimicrobiano, que comprende una unidad de aplicación antimicrobiana y una unidad de reciclaje. Se prepara inicialmente una composición antimicrobiana diluida. La composición es provista a una unidad de aplicación antimicrobiana y aplicada a los objetos de trabajo, tales como aves de corral procesadas. Después de la aplicación al objeto de trabajo, la composición es devuelta al tanque de reciclaje. El antimicrobiano removido y la composición restante son luego desechados en forma apropiada. El antimicrobiano es preferiblemente, un compuesto de amonio cuaternario, más preferiblemente, cloruro de alquilpiridinio y mejor aún, cloruro de cetilpiridinio.
