DESIGN FOR AN ORGAN-CASE.

Specification forming part of Design No. 6,509, dated March 18, 1873.

To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, SAMUEL HAYWARD, of the city of Boston, in the State of Massachusetts, have invented a Design for an Organ- Uasc, of which the following is a specification:

The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustration, to which reference is made; and consists in forming the case with hooded projee tionsA A at each end, which serve to relieve the ordinary plain and angular appearance of the ends, and impart a novel and agreeable eli'eot to the general form. It also consists in the central pedestal B, arising on the front of the ease above the music-desk, as shown in the photograph; also, in the recess 0, in the top of the case, in which the inclined music-desk D rests. It further consists in the carved ornamental device of arched and festooned drapery E, upon the front of the ease.

I claim as my invention- 1. The design for the hooded end projec tions A A, substantially as herein shown and described.

2. The design for the central pedestal B, substantially as herein shown and described.

3. The design for the recess 0, with the cen traipedestal B, as herein shown and described.

4. The design for the arched 0r festooned drapery E, on the front, substantially as herein shown and described.
