Description

UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LEVI K. FULLER, 0F BRATTLEBOROUGH, VERMONT, ASSIGNOR TO J. ESTEY & CO., OF SAME PLACE.
DESIGN FOR A PARLOR-ORGAN CASE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 5,299, dated October 3, 1871.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, LEvI K. FULLER, of Brat tleborough, in the county of vVindliam, and State of Vermont, have invented and produced a new and" original Design for a Parlor-Organ Case, of which the following is a specifica-tion:
The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photogr. phic illustration, to which reference is made in this description 5 and consists, first, of circular or columnar projections vconnecting` the front of the case with the consoles which support the key-board portion; second, in ornainented pilasters, in combination with the ends ofthe case.
The circular portions A A project from the plane ofthe front B at the inner angles of the consoles C C, starting With the base or pedestal of the latter and terminating with the top thereof, forming a graceful and easy gradation of surface from the plane of the front to the most prominent projections. The deeply-recessed angles are thereby agrecably modified.
The ornamented pilasters D D at each end of the ease, starting from the base and terminating at the top, form characteristic ornaments for the ends, relieving them of the monotony of a plain or paneled surface.
I claiml. The design for an organ-case, consisting of the pilasters D D, in combination with the ends, as described.
2. The design for an orgalrcase, consisting' of the curved projections A A and consoles U G, in combination with the front, as described.
3. The design for an organ-case, consisting` of' the curved projections A A, consoles C C, and the front, in combination with the pilasters D D and the end, as described.
4. rlhe design for an organ-case, as shown and described.
In witness whereof I have hereunto signed my name in the presence of two subscribing Witnesses.
Witnesses: LEVI K. FULLER.
WALTER H. CHILDS, N. P. CHASE.
