Be it known that I, JOHN L. In the photograph, A represents the body of a ehilds carriage, composed ofthe several por tions, a` b c d e, having the edges thereof in lines inclined to each other at angles greater than ninety degrees. Thus, the line 5 (i of the. back forms an obtuse angle with the line 6 i ofthe seat; the line (i T a similar angle with the line 7 8, extending from the front of the seat to the rear ofthe door; the line 7 8 forms a similar angle with the line S 9 of the door; and the line 8 9 of the iioor also an obtuse angle with the line 9 1() of the foot-rest or front of the body, the design thus produced being unique and ornamental.
The distinctive character of luy design is found in the lines and angles in the construetion of the body of the carriage, and in the curved bifurented standard supporting the Cen tral section ot' the top, the whole forming nunique and beautiful design.
