DESIGN FOR A HAT.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,349, dated November 26, 1901.
Application filed August 28, 1901. Serial No. 73,629. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it ntay concern:
Be it known that I, JAMESILBROWN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Denver,
in the county of Arapahoe and State of Co10- rado, haveinvented and produced a new and original Design for Hats, of which the following is a specification, reference being bad to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
Figure 1 is a side elevation, Fig. 2 a rear elevation, and Fig. 3 a front elevation, of a hat, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawings, the leading or material feature of my design consists of the shape of the rim, the vizor aof whichis curved downwardly similar to the vizor of the hat known as the derby, while at the back the rim extends nearly the same distance as at the front, but curves inwardly or toward the crown from a point slightly in the rear of the middle of the crown and also curves upwardly and inwardly, as at b, at the back of the hat. The crown c is rounded, as shown.
