DESIGN FOR A BELT-BODY.

SPECIFICATION forming part Of Design No. 32,842, dated June 12, 1900. Application filed May 11 1900. Serial No. 16,371- Term of patent 3% years.

To all whom it may concern.-

Be it known that I, HENRY J. GAISMAN, a citizen of the United States, residing in New York city, borough of Manhattan, State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for the Bodies of Belts or Similar Articles, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof, wherein Figure 1 is a face View of a body portion of a belt embodying my design, and Fig. 2 is a transverse section of the same on the line 2 2 of Fig. 1.

The essential feature of my design consists in a bolt-body having its outer face embellished with a. conventional or ring-like rib at the center portion of its back, and a rib upon each side thereof havinga transverse portion and two branches extending therefrom, which converge toward the end of the belt-body.

As shown in the drawings, the letter A indicates the belt-body, in the central portion of which is a conventional or ring-like rib B, and the ribs which are located upon opposite sides of the rib B have their transverse portions, which are spaced from the rib B, de= noted by the letter C, and the converging branches by C 0 \Vhat I claim is- The design for a belt-body, substantially as shown and described.
