Br zfl mag UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
LOUIS (I. \VAGNER, OF NEW YORK, N. Y.
DESIGN FOR A CIGAR-BAND.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 20,799, dated June 2, 1891.
Application filed April 16, 1891. Serial Nn.389,22l. Term of patent 7 years To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that I, LOUIS C. WAGNER, of the city of New York, in the county of New York, in the State of New York, have invented a new Design for Cigar-Bands, of which the following is a specification.
In the accompanying drawing, forming a part of this specification, a face view of my new design for cigarbands is shown.
The essential feature of my design consists of an approximately diamond-shaped or inclined central field and two tapering wings at the ends of the same, one inclined slightly upward from one end of the central field and the other inclined slightly downward.-
A is a central field, which has the shape approximately of a diamond or inclined quadrangle, the top and bottom edges being rounded on the S curve.
B and O are tapering wings at the ends of the central field A, the wing I; being longer than the wing U. The wing 1% is slightly inclined downward from the end of the central field A and the wing C is inclined slightly upward.
E represents a border along the edges of the central field A and the two wings I and and F represents ornaments in the wings and G ornaments in the central field,
Having thus described my invention, I claim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patentlhe design for a cigar-band, substantially as herein shown and described.
In testimony that I claim the foregoing as myinvention I have signed my name in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
LOUIS (1. \YAHNER.
