DESIGN FOR PLATE OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,270, dated March 26, 1901.
Application filed April 12, 1900. Serial No. 12,639. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that 1, CHARLES J. AHREN- FELDT, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Plate or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.
In the said drawings, Figure l is aplan view of a plate with my design placed thereon. Fig. 2 is a cross-section thereof.
The panels A consist of a wreath A of flowers and leaves hung from a knotted ribbon A and having a cluster of like flowers and leaves A in the center thereof.
The panels A are connected by streamers of leaves and flowers B B, hung from pairs of roses 1) b and intersecting each other, a pair of roses 13 being located at each point of intersection.
The centerpiece 0 consists of a cluster of roses 0 at the center, with leaves and small flowers c, resembling forget-menots, projecting from each rose. From this central cluster proceed loops C of small leaves and flowers resembling forget-me-nots, presenting a petal-like appearance, and provided at their outer parts with a pair of roses C Opposite the points where the loops or petals converge are small flowers and leaves 0 of the same variety.
What I claim is The design fora plate or similar article substantially as herein shown and described.
