DESIGN FOR A PLATE OR SIMILAR ARTICLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 32,468, dated April 10, 1900.
Application filed January 8, 1900. Serial No. 786- Term of patent 7 years.
To all whmn it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, CHARLES J. AHREN- FELDT, a citizen of the United States, residing at the city of New York, county of New York, and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Plate or Similar Article, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the said drawing the figure is a plan v iew of a plate with my design placed thereon.
A consists of two spiral ornaments A A and a semicircular ornament A, all of the same character, proceeding from a common stem A at either side of an upright stalk A hearing leaves and flowers. The spiral and curved ornaments are supplemented by small stems bearing leaves and flowers (Land fruitbearing tendrils a and a B consists of a pair of abutting spiral leaflike ornaments ll, with an upright stem 13 hearing leaves and flowers interposed botweemand a leaf-like ornament- B at the outer terminal of each spiral. B and B are supplemented by small stems bearing flowers b and fruit-bearing tendrils b b similar to o, u, and a respectively.
C consists of a pair of semicircular ornaments 0', each supplemented by stems bearing leaves and flowers C C", the two ornaments forming a circular panel.
A and B are alternated to form a circular border, while (Dislocated at the center thereof.
This design may be applied to articles other than plates.
\Vhat I claim is- The design for a plate or similar article substanlially as herein shown and described.
