SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,260, dated March 26, 1901.

Be it known that I, ERNEST ()LDENBUSCH, a. citizen of the United States, residing at 1-10- boken, in the county of Hudson and State of New Jersey, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Frames for Pictures or Similar Articles, of which the followingz, is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

Figure l is a plan View of a frame for pictures or similar articles, showing; my new design. Fig. 2 is a sectional \IGW taken on the line 2 20f Fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a sectional view taken on the line 3 3 of Fig. 1.

As shown in the drawings, the leading: or material feature of my design consists of a plain concave elliptical rim A, to the outer edge of which are attached the ornamental scrolls D, forming a border, and the Whole being surmounted by the ornamental piece 0, having, a plain center (I and floral ornamentation 6.

It is apparent that this design is also applicable to frames for mirrors and similar articles.

The design for a frame for pictures or similar articles, substantially as herein shown and described.
