DESIGN FOR A PATTERN-CHART.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 29,596, dated November 1, 1898.
Application filed September 21, 1898. Serial No. 691,561. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern.-
Be it known that 1, JAMES MARSDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing in WVigan, in the county of Lancaster, England, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Pattern-Chart, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
The drawing is a plan view of a patternchart, showing my new design.
As shown in the drawing, the leading or material feature of my design consists of a pattern-chart having represented thereon the novel arrangement of patterns for boys Norfolk jackets and trousers, as now described.
At one side of the pattern-chart is shown the jacket fore part 0, having pocket position indicated at c and the posit-ion of buttons indicated by stars, the inside collar Lthe pocketfacings J J, the top side sleeve F, the jacket fore part 0, having pocket position indicated at c, the top side pieces of trousers, B B B, the trousers-fly V, the under side of trousers, A, the under side of sleeves, M M, the jacketfacing O, the front plaits P P, patch-pocket pieces S S, jacket-facings O O, and pocket= facings T T. At the other side of the patternchart is shown the jacket fore part 0, having pocket position indicated at c, the back plaits E E, the fore-part plait H, the back G, the top sleeve parts L L, the under sleeve part M, the jacket-back N, the under side of trousers, A, the trousers fly-pieces V V, outside-collar pieces Q Q Q, the jacket-facing O, the under side of trousers, R, pocket-facing T, and the belts U U U.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new therein, and desire to secure by Design Letters Patent, is' v The design for a pattern-chart substantially as herein shown and described.
