DESIGN FOR TEXTILE FABRIC;
SPECIFIGATION forming part of Design No. 18,977, dated April 2, 1889;
Application filcdlebrnary 28, 1889 Serial No. 300,946. Term of patent 3% years;
To all whom, it may concern: 1 Be it known that I, JOSEPH BLEISCHWITZ, a citizen of the United States, an d a resident of Boston, in the county of Suffolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Textile Fabrics, of which the following is a description, reference being had to the accompanying photographic print, which forms a part of the same. I The leading feature of my design is the central flower in full bloom, with the stems, leaves, and buds extending from the central portion of the figure upon several sides, and such leading feature may be repeated upon a single piece so long as the characteristic feature above described is present in the single grouping.
My invention relates to a design to be wrought into the fabric or printed or similarly displayed upon the surface of such fabric as may be used for articles of wearingapparel, as slippers, and the single grouping is particularly adapted for use on the froiit of a slipper. The said design maybe produced in such. colors and tints may be. desired.
My invention consists in the novel configu ration and grouping of (he figures and the component parts thereof as herein specifically shown and claimed.
The accompanying photographic print is a 30 plan view showing the arrangement of the design upon a slipper-front;butI do notlimit myself to the particular shape or outline of the piece of fabric upon which this design is displayed.
