CHARLES ADAMS THROCKMORTON, OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY.
DESIGN FOR AN ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE.
Application filed December 17, 1915.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, CHARLES ADAMS THROGKMORTON, a. citizen of the United States, and a resident of the city of Newark, in the county of Essex and State of New Jersey, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for an Article of Manufacture, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The figure of the drawing is a View of my design, which comprises the letters U and S entwined in a monogram, and upon the face of one of said letters shall appear stars, and upon the face of the other of said letters shall appear stripes.
My design may be stamped, printed, imprinted, embossed or worked on or in or cut upon or in any suitable paper, cloth, or any other fabric, or upon any metal or any other suitable material, and may be produced on or Specification for Design.

While I have shown conventionally by the drawing certain parts of the design produced in blue, other parts in white, and other parts in red, it is to be understood that I may change these colors in the design and may use any other desired color or colors in producing the same, or may omit colors entirely and produce the design in relief.
