cord ornament 2 being a series of arcs or scnllops in opposite directions along near the edges of the gimp, and in the middle of the gimp are 15 two ranges of cord ornaments, 4, with trans verse bars 5, and at the edges of the gimp are small loops 6, and thelongitndina l bands 7 are between the loops 6 and spiral cords 2, and the longitudinal bands 8 are between the spiral-cord ornaments and the cord ornaments 4, 20 and there are short cross-hands to the bands 7 and 8.

I claim- The design for gimp, substantially as represented, consisting in' the design of the spiral- 25 cord ornaments in opposite scallop lines and the intermediate-cord ornaments and longitudinal and crossing bands, substantially as represented.
