DESIGN FOR PATTERN IN SUITINGS.

Specification forming part of Design No. I0, [46, dated August 14, 1877; application filed July 25, 1877. [Term of Patent 31} years] To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, NATHAN FRYE, of Andover, in the county of Essex and State of Massachusetts, have originated and designed a Pattern in Suitings; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying photographs, which form a part of this specification.

A represents ground of pattern, and is striped at regular intervals by three narrow stripes running warpwise.

B represents two narrow raised bars formed by the weft, woven at regular intervals, and

in such a manner as to form octagonal spaces, the whole having the effect of stripes, either Warp or wct't wise, and showing warp and welt in any colors desired.

I claim as my in\'ention The abovedescribed design, as shown by accompanying photograph.
