SPECIFICATION forming part of Letters Patent No. 506,674, dated October 17, 1893.

To all whom. it may concern.-
Beit known that I, SIMON DANCYGER, a citizen of the United States, residing at Dayton,
in the county of Montgomery and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Paper-Fasteners; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, which will enable others skilled in the art to which it appertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, and to the figures of reference marked thereon,which form a partofthisspecification.
My invention relates to improvements in paper fastenings, the features of which will be fully hereinafter described and claimed.
The object of my invention is the construction of a paper fastening of wire, which will be simple, effective and cheap, and is used the same as other devices for the purpose.
The construction is illustrated in the accompanying drawings, in which Figure 1 is top view of the device. is a side View of the same.

Having fully described my invention, What I claim, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
As an improved article of manufacture the wire paper fastener having the wire bent with the central, curved portion, the circular bends forming the head and then bent snugly over said central portion at a right angle to said head, and the ends bent down parallel and adjacent to each other forming the attaching prongs, substantially as set forth.
