The present invention relates to windows;

These brackets, moreover, are equipped with forks 18 having threaded stems .17 which are adjustably engaged in threaded openings or sockets formed vertically in the brackets so that the forks maybe raised or lowered.
This vertical adjustment of the forks may be effected simply by rotating the fork itself (F g. 5) or byforming akey opening'21 (Flg. 6) through the bottom of the bracket at 8 to the to enable a key to be engaged with the forated, as indicated at 20, to permit suitable inga vertical rod 14 which is pivotally connected at 13 to the free ends of angular extensions 12 of the lower sash links 7. The
brackets 15 in this form of the invention are replaced by brackets 10 of slightly different shape which, however, may be, and preferably are,v provided with forked portions wherein the links '61 and 7 are pivoted, as before.
I claim a'smy invention:
1; A window, comprising a stationary mainframe, an auxiliary frame mounted in and movable relatively to the main frame, brackets secured to the side members of the auxiliary frame, vertically adjustable forks mounted in said brackets, a sash, and upper and lower link connections between said forks and the corresponding side members of the sash to enable the latter to move bodily out of and into the auxiliary fr me; said auxiliary frame being movable in a direction to bring the sash into position to enable its outer surfaceto be cleaned from within the interior of the room wherein the window; is located. i v
'2. A window, comprising a frame, brackets secured to the side members thereof, vertically adjustable forks mounted in said brackets, a sash, and upper and lower link connections between said forksand the corresponding side members of the sash to enable the latter to move bodily out of and into said frame.
3. A window, brackets secured to of, vertical forks having threaded stems which are rotatablyand adjustably mounted in threaded vertical sockets formed in the brackets, a sash, and upper and lower link 7 connections between said forks and the corresponding side members of the sash to enable the latter to move bodily out-of and into said frame.
