I do claim 1. In an automatic pistol, the combination of a frame provided with a stop, a for- Wardly spring-pressed slide slidable on the frame, a trigger mounted in the frame, and a finger-piece slidable along the frame, adapted to engage with said slide and drive the same into its rear position, said fingerpiece being adapted to coaot with saidstop and to be thereby released from said slide when the -finger-piece is directly" in front of said trigger.

In an automatic pistol, the combination of a. frame provided with a stop, a forwardly spring-pressed slide slidable on the frame, a trigger mounted in the frame, and a finger-piece slidable along the frame, said fingerpiece carrying .an elastic hook adapted to engage With said slide and drive the same into its rear position, said hook being adapted to eoact With said stop and to be IT OLD CHYLEWSKI.
