Small-arms combined with other articles; attaching weapons to guns.-Consists in a special method of mounting a knife blade or a spike on the butt stock of a rifle for use as a weapon. The blade a is pivoted at the end of the stock d and is adapted to be closed into a slot c, or opened out at rightangles as shown in Fig. 2. It is locked iu either of these positions by a spring plunger f engaging flats on the blade and adapted to be pushed in to release the blade by an external button h.
