Изобретение относится к черной металлургии, в частности к обработке жидкого металла во время разливки в изложницы. Целью изобретения является повышение качества металла за счет обработки его в изложнице углеродсодержащей смесью. Смесь состоит из антрацита и хлористого натрия в соотношении (20-5):1, причем максимальные размеры частиц хлористого натрия не превышают 300 мкм, а антрацита 150 мкм. В процессе разливки полуспокойной стали в изложницу, после наполнения ее на 2/3 высоты, вводят смесь в количестве 0,001-0,005% от массы слитка. При этом в головной части слитка резко увеличивается количество центров газообразования, что приводит к интенсивному и равномерному перемешиванию и кипению металла в верхней части, снижению содержания вредных примесей, улучшению кристаллической структуры слитков. Использование смеси позволяет улучшить качество слитка и повысить выход годного металла в прокате на 0,3%.The invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, in particular to the processing of liquid metal during casting into molds. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of the metal by processing it in the mold with a carbon-containing mixture. The mixture consists of anthracite and sodium chloride in the ratio (20-5): 1, and the maximum particle size of sodium chloride does not exceed 300 microns, and anthracite 150 microns. In the process of casting semi-calm steel into the mold, after filling it to 2/3 of its height, a mixture is introduced in an amount of 0.001-0.005% of the ingot mass. At the same time, the number of gassing centers in the head of the ingot sharply increases, which leads to intensive and uniform mixing and boiling of the metal in the upper part, a decrease in the content of harmful impurities, and an improvement in the crystal structure of the ingots. The use of the mixture allows improving the quality of the ingot and increasing the yield of good metal in rolled products by 0.3%.
