發明背景
目前存在的裝置係供用於不織布,舉例而言,由長纖維所形成的紡粘疋材(spun-bond webs),結構或物件,或者典型地由一熱塑性樹脂製成的纖維之生產。這種裝置已見載於1998年9月29日頒發的美國專利第5,814,349號中,其揭示內容在此併入本文供參考。這些裝置典型地包括一用於生產一絲編條簾(curtain of strands)之噴絲頭(spinneret),以及一製程空氣鼓風機(process-air blower),用以將製程空氣吹到絲編條簾上以冷卻該簾形成熱塑性長纖維。熱塑性長纖維接著典型地受到製程空氣的氣動輸送以氣動拉伸該熱塑性長纖,長纖接著在通過一擴散器(diffuser)後被沉積至一連續循環的篩網式皮帶(sieve belt)上,以收集互相交纏的長纖並在其上形成一疋材。如此形成的疋材,結構或物件接著被傳送並進行進一步的處理。

有許多商業製程可以用於生產氣流鋪製的不織布疋材。 舉例而言,可以使用在丹麥Risskov設有辦事處的Dan-Web Corp.,以及在丹麥Horsens設有辦事處的M&J Forming Technologies所提供的氣流鋪製法。
本發明係有關生產不織布以及其中關聯的事物,尤其是靜電。
在一不織布製程中,會產生大量的靜電。本發明即是致力於這個問題。通常,當長纖或者纖維被加工時,負電荷會堆積於其等之上。連續的纖維層因其等為相同極性而傾向互相排斥。帶電的纖維傾向粘附於壓輥(press rolls)。其等亦傾向於受到成形的織物所排斥,因為在帶電纖維的加工期間會在其上出現一個電荷。這個電荷會聚集。
在歐洲專利申請案第EP 0 950 744 A1號中建議使用具有一介電表面的壓輥,該介電表面被充以具有一會排斥纖維的極性之電荷。該成形織物亦由一介電材料製成並且被充以和纖維的極性相反的電荷,藉以將纖維吸引到那裡。
本發明係有關在維持一傳送帶之透氣性(air permeability)的同時使靜電荷(static electric charge)消散的作用。以前,美國專利第4,427,736號建議使因一乾燥織物(dryer fabric)而累積的靜電荷消散,藉以防止從一個織物傳送到另一個時發生紙粘附於織物的情形。
美國專利第4,541,895號為一PM織物,其由複數個結合在一起形成一疊層配置之不可滲透的不織布片材所構成。每一層適用於一個特定的目的,例如抵抗靜電荷。此外,紗線(yarns)可以合併在該等疊層製品之間以增加抗靜電特 性。
美國專利第6,001,749號藉由將一整理劑(finish)塗敷於一織物的選定部分來提供一圖案化的導電織品,抑止在那些區域中形成一導電聚合物塗層。
美國專利第6,153,124號為一導電的針織物,其重量的2-30%由一導電紗線構成。該導電紗線由以重量計為5-30%的鍍鋅的鐵纖維(galvanized iron fiber)及以重量計70-95%之一聚酯纖維(polyester fiber)製成。導電性係與該紗線的濃度(concentration)成比例。

發明概要

這些及其他的目的和優點係由本發明所完成。就這點而言,本發明大致上係與供用於生產不織布疋材、結構或者物件的一種傳送帶相關。為處理靜電問題,傳送帶可包括一導電材料,其使得在維持該傳送帶所需之透氣性的同時可以消散疋材上的靜電荷。

較有利地係,本發明為一在一不織布製程中使用的傳送帶,其可以在維持所需透氣性的同時消散靜電荷。就這點而言,第2圖所示為使用於本發明中的抗靜電傳送帶18的橫截面。傳送帶18包含一襯底基材或結構20,其係由一梭織或螺旋高分子材料(其本身有傳導性)製成,或者由適合被覆以一導電性纖維層、發泡材或者其他材料22之其他結構 (construction)構成,當傳送帶經過塗覆時可以維持透氣性在大約20到200 CMF或者更高的範圍內,而同時具有一在100 歐姆/平方到108 歐姆/平方的範圍內之低電阻率(resistivity)。
該襯底基材可為當作襯底於造紙網(paper machine clothing)所使用的結構中之任一種,例如,一梭織或一螺旋連接的織物。該襯底基材亦可由梭織材料中之一種的一個片條螺旋纏繞複數圈合股而成,每一圈都利用共同受讓人為Rexfelt et al.,的美國專利USP 5,360,656號所揭露之一連續接縫與相鄰的那幾圈結合,該案之教示在此併入本文供參考。此外,該襯底基材可為梭織環帶,或者平織物(flat woven)且隨即被做成具有一梭織接縫的環形。
該襯底基材亦可為一包含兩個或者更多個襯底基材的疊層結構,各襯底基材都可以是上述結構中之一者。襯底基材疊層處,構成襯底基材的成分中之一者可為一可機上縫合(on-machine-seamable)的織物,以便該傳送帶在裝設至一造紙機上時可被縫合成環形。
該襯底基材可由造紙網及工業加工織物的製造中所使用之任何種類的紗線梭織或者合股而成。換句話說,該襯底基材可包括由熟悉本技藝的人士所使用之任一種合成的高分子樹脂(synthetic polymeric resins)的短纖維所紡成之單絲、起絨單絲、複絲、起絨複絲或者紗線。
在第2圖所示的實例中,基材20賦予傳送帶18尺寸安定性及壓縮性;導電纖維層,發泡材或其他材料22使靜電從 疋材12經由傳送帶18消散至地面。應該注意的是,基材20可利用針刺、熱粘合(thermal bonding)、接結(stitching)、化學製程,或者其他適合於該目的的方法而結合至纖維層、發泡材或者其他材料22。
此外,導電材料22可塗覆於襯底基材或結構20上。所塗覆的導電材料22可藉噴霧、、擠壓而施於襯底基材上,或者成為一熱熔型材料層。
更進一步的優點在於,纖維層、發泡材或其他材料22的疋材覆面表面(web-facing surface)是光滑的,以便避免伴隨著使用大量之一般所稱的超吸收性粉末或SAP以生產特定的不織布時所發生的堵塞及斑點問題。舉例而言,一被塗覆的導電材料22的表面可以利用熱壓縮(compacting)或者磨毛加工(sanding)來製作以獲得所需的表面外形或者光滑度。
因此,本發明之抗靜電傳送帶18為一多層結構,其可包含一或更多襯底20以及一或更多層纖維層、發泡材或其他材料22,而其中有一部分是導電性的。這種傳送帶18在不織布的生產期間會減少靜電荷,而同時在該疋材生產過程中提供所需的透氣性。
儘管一較佳實施例在此已經被詳細地揭露及說明,但是其範圍不應該因此而受到限制;相反地,其範圍應該由所附的申請專利範圍來確定。

Claims (14)

  1. 一種工業用之抗靜電傳送帶,包含:由紗線形成之一襯底基材;施用於該基材的一導電材料;該傳送帶能夠使靜電荷消散而同時維持一所需之透氣性在大約20到200CFM的範圍;其中該導電材料為傳導纖維層或一傳導發泡材;其中該傳送帶係使用於一裝置,該裝置係用以生產一不織布疋材,該不織布疋材係藉由一自氣流鋪製法、乾式鋪製法、紡黏法(spunbond)、融黏法(meltbond)、射流噴網法(spunlace)或由此等生產製程之二或多者的組合所構成之群組中選出之生產製程而形成。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該導電材料主要在於使該靜電荷消散。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該基材為該傳送帶提供尺寸安定性及壓縮性。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該基材亦是導電的。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該基材係由一梭織或螺旋材料製成。
  6. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該基材係由高分子材料製成。
  7. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該傳送帶具有一在100 歐姆/平方到108 歐姆/平方之間的電阻率。
  8. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該導電材料及該基材 係利用針刺、熱粘合、接結、或化學製程而結合。
  9. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該傳送帶具有一光滑的疋材覆面表面,藉而避免該不織布疋材的堵塞及斑點。
  10. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,累積在該疋材及該傳送帶的靜電荷透過該傳送帶被排放至接地元件。
  11. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,該傳送帶為環狀或者有一接縫。
  12. 如申請專利範圍第1項之傳送帶,其中該導電材料係塗覆於該襯底基材上。
  13. 如申請專利範圍第12項之傳送帶,其中該塗層係藉噴霧或者擠壓法加以塗覆。
  14. 如申請專利範圍第12項之傳送帶,其中該塗層為一熱熔性材料層。
