Description
本發明通常有關電子系統輸入裝置,而更明確而言,有關力影像及位置與力影像互電容系統。
許多觸摸感測裝置可用於電腦系統、個人數位助理、行動電話、遊戲系統、音樂系統等(即,電子系統)。或許,多年來當作鍵盤與位置指示器使用的電阻薄膜位置感測器是眾所周知。其他類型觸摸感測裝置包括電阻板、表面聲波裝置、基於電阻、電容的觸摸感測器、應變計、電磁感測器或壓力感測器、與光學感測器。因為使它們操作所需的壓力本質上會在指狀物與感測器表面之間建立黏滯力(stiction),所以壓力靈敏位置感測器在過去已對當作一指向裝置(相對於一資料登錄或寫入裝置)使用已提供小的效益。在大部分,此黏滯力已使此裝置變成不流行。

在一具體實施例中,本發明可提供一力靈敏觸控板,其包括藉由一彈簧薄膜分開的第一與第二組導電線路。當施加一力時,彈簧薄膜會變形,以使兩組線路移動更靠在一起。結果的互電容變化可用來產生一作用力的位置(相對於觸控板的表面)與力量或強度的影像表示。在另一具體實施例中,本發明提供一組合的位置與力靈敏觸控板,包括兩組驅動線路、一組感測線路、與一彈簧薄膜。操作上,該等驅動線路之一係與感測線路組搭配使用,以產生一或多個物體觸摸觸控板的影像。第二組驅動線路係與感測線路與彈簧薄膜搭配使用,以產生作用力的力量或強度、及相對於觸控板表面位置的影像。根據本發明,力觸控板及位置與力觸控板可合併在各種電子裝置,有助於提高使用者操縱陣列的辨識。

參考圖1,根據本發明描述的力偵測器的一般觀念可在觸控板裝置100中執行。如前述,該力偵測器100包含裝飾層105、感測層110(包括導電路徑115與電連接器120)、介電彈簧層125(包括空間偏移凸起結構130)、驅動層135(包括導電路徑140與電連接器145)與基底或支撐物150(熟諳此技術者可明白連接器120和145分別在層110和135上提供每一導電線路的唯一連接)。

操作上,由於透過在驅動線路620與感測線路625之間的互電容而在一或多個位置上觸摸的裝飾層605,所以觸控板600可測量電容變化(例如,減少)。在如上述的方式中,當感測線路625與驅動線路650透過在他們間的互電容測量變化(例如,增加)而更靠近時,觸控板600亦可測量施加於裝飾層的力。在此具體實施例中,凸起結構655係使用在驅動線路(650)的第二層兩端,以提供額外的運動偵測能力。
在測量操作期間,驅動線路620的每一者依序激勵;同時,測量在驅動線路620與感測線路625之間的互電容變化。只要驅動線路620的每一者已激勵(且經由感測線路625測量的對應電容變化),驅動線路650的每一者會依序驅動,且感測線路625可用來決定與力(即,由於作用力,在線路625與650之間的互電容變化)有關的互電容變化。依此方式,可獲得"觸摸"輸入與"力"輸入裝飾層605的一影像。
熟諳此技術者認知不需要上述的"掃描"序列。例如,驅動線路620和650能夠以重疊方式激勵,使得在驅動線路620中的一第一線路可激勵,依序在驅動線路650中的一第一線路650、在驅動線路620中的一第二線路620等。或者,在驅動線路620中的一群線路可先激勵,依序係在驅動線路650中的一群線路等。
在一具體實施例中,驅動線路620(與觸摸位置測量操作有關)係使用來自驅動線路650(與力測量操作有關)與感測線路625(在位置與力測量操作期間所使用)的一不同幾何。參考圖7,可看出驅動線路620利用導電線路,其係使用內部浮動板結構700;此外,係實際大於在感測線路625與驅動線路650(在描述的具體實施例中,兩者具有相同實際大小/結構)中使用的導電線路。已發現到此組態可提供增加的靈敏度,用於決定一或多個物體(例如,一觸控筆)是在何處觸摸,或造成更靠近裝飾表面605。

Claims (32)
- 一種力影像觸控板,其包含:一第一層,其包括一第一剛性層及一第一複數個導電線路,該第一複數個導電線路係朝一第一方向;一第二層,其包括一第二剛性層及一第二複數個導電線路,該第二複數個導電線路係朝一第二方向;及一變形介電薄膜,其係並列在該等第一與第二層之間,且當一力施加於該第一層時,其係可變形以移動該第一複數個導電線路來接近該第二複數個導電線路,其中當該力施加於該第一層時,該等第一與第二複數個導電線路係調適成用以建立一電容影像,該電容影像係表示該被施加之力的一強度。
- 如請求項1之力影像觸控板,其中該第一複數個導電線路與該第二複數個導電線路係實質上正交。
- 如請求項1之力影像觸控板,其中該變形介電薄膜包含:一實質上平坦薄膜,其具有朝向該第一層的一第一表面,及朝向該第二層的一第二表面;一第一複數個凸起結構,其係耦合至該實質上平坦薄膜的該第一表面;及一第二複數個凸起結構,其係耦合至該實質上平坦薄膜的該第二表面,其中該第二複數個凸起結構係實質上從該第一複數個凸起結構偏移。

- 如請求項1之力影像觸控板,其進一步包含一互電容測量電路,其係電耦合至該等第一與第二複數個導電線路。
- 一種力影像觸控板,其包含:一第一層,其包括一第一剛性層及一第一複數個導電線路,該第一複數個導電線路係朝一第一方向;及一第二層,其包括一變形介電薄膜及一朝一第二方向的第二複數個導電線路;及一第三層,其包括一第二剛性層,其中配置該第二層介於該第一層及第三層之間,且當一力施加於該第一層時,該變形介電薄膜係可變形以移動該第一複數個導電線路來接近該第二複數個導電線路,其中當該力施加於該第一層時,該等第一與第二複數個導電線路係調適成用以建立一電容影像,其中該電容影像表示該被施加之力的一強度。
- 如請求項9之力影像觸控板,其中該第一複數個導電線路與該第二複數個導電線路係實質上正交。

- 如請求項14之力影像觸控板,其中該等第一與第三方位係實質上相同,且該第二方位係實質上與其正交。
- 一種力與位置影像觸控板,其包含:一第一層,其包括朝一第一方向的一第一複數個導電線路、與朝一第二方向的一第二複數個導電線路;一變形介電薄膜,其具有一第一表面與一第二表面,該第一表面係與該第一層並列;一基底層;及一第三複數個導電線路,其實質上朝該第一方向,且其係並列介於該基底層與該變形介電薄膜的該第二表面;其中當一或多個物體靠近該第一層時,該等第一與第二複數個導電線路係調適成用以建立一第一電容影像,其中該第一電容影像表示該一或多個物體係位於該第一層的相對位置;其中當一力施加於該第一層時,該等第二與第三複數個導電線路係調適成用以建立一第二電容影像,其中該第二電容影像表示該被施加之力的一強度。

- 如請求項16之力與位置影像觸控板,其進一步包含介於該第一層與該基底層之間的熱塑性樹脂的一或多個層。
- 如請求項16之力與位置影像觸控板,其中該變形薄膜包含:一第一複數個凸起結構,其係與該變形薄膜的該第一表面並列;及一第二複數個凸起結構,其係與該變形薄膜的該第二表面並列,其中該等第一與第二複數個凸起結構係彼此實質上空間偏移。
- 如請求項22之力與位置影像觸控板,其中該等第一與第二複數個凸起結構包含熱塑性樹脂。
- 如請求項16之力與位置影像觸控板,其中該變形薄膜進一步包含一第一複數個變形滾珠。

- 一種力影像顯示器,其包含:一顯示元件;一第一層,其包括一第一剛性層及一第一複數個實質上透明的導電線路,該第一複數個實質上透明的導電線路係朝一第一方向,其中該第一層係與該顯示元件的一第一表面相鄰;一第二層,其包括一第二複數個實質上透明的導電線路及一第二剛性層,該第二複數個實質上透明的導電線路係朝一第二方向,其中該第一層係並列在該第二層與該顯示元件之間;及一變形實質上透明的介電薄膜,其係並列在該等第一與第二層之間且當一力施加於該第二層時,其係可變形以移動該第一複數個導電線路來接近該第二複數個導電線路,其中當該力施加於該第二層時,該等第一與第二複數個導電線路係調適成用以建立一電容影像,其中該電容影像表示該被施加之力的一強度。
