Abstract

A method for marking a flaw on a sheet-like product in which its mark can be surely detected in subsequent step, and in which the decrease of yield rate thereof is surely prevented upon cutting a predetermined shape of portion out of the sheet-like product, and an apparatus executing the method. When a flaw 13 is detected by performing various imaging processes with respect to an image, taken by photographing means 12, of a surface of the sheet-like product 11, marking means 14 puts thereon a scratch or abrasion 15, as the mark, parallel with a direction 11a in which the sheet-like product 11 is transported, so as to sandwich its location of the flaw from both sides thereof in a direction perpendicular to the direction 11a.

555970 A7 B7 五、發明説明(1 ) (發明所屬之技術領域) 本發明是關於一種合成樹脂薄膜等的片狀製品之缺陷 記號方法及裝置。 (習知技術) 以往,在合成樹脂薄膜或紙等的製程中,以一定寬度 而且在長又大的帶狀狀態下自動地施以各種處理,最後依 照製品規格切斷成爲所定形狀。檢測未滿足製品規格的缺 陷部分,也在帶狀狀態下自動地進行,而在後續製程能將 缺陷部分之識別成爲容易地,施以記號。例如在製造被使 用於液晶顯示面板的偏光板之際,在合成樹脂薄膜的成形 製程,或賦予朝一定方向的延伸所產生的偏光特性等的製 程中,長又大的帶狀中間製品連續而在各製程被處理,藉 由製品規格被切斷成事先決定的大小或方向。爲了自動地 進行缺陷檢查,必須將缺陷的檢測與有關於缺陷的記號, 沿著片狀製品的搬運路徑加以進行。 第6圖是表示一般性的缺陷記號方法。第6 ( a )圖 是表示裝置的槪略構成;第6 ( b )圖是表示施以記號的 製品狀態。如第6 ( a )圖所示,在記號裝置中,對於以 一定寬度的帶狀並以一定速度搬運的片狀製品1,以攝影 機2攝影表面,並藉由畫像處理進行缺陷3的檢測。在片 狀製品1的搬運方向的下游側,標號器4配設於寬度方向 的一端或兩端。當藉由攝影機2檢測到缺陷3,則在寬度 方向包括缺陷部分,配合從配設攝影機2的位置一直搬運 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準( CNS ) A4規格(210 X 297公釐) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 裝· *11 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 -4 - 555970 A7 ___B7 五、發明説明(2 ) (請先閱讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 至配設標號器4的位置的時機,標號器4進行動作。在寬 度方向包括缺陷3的部分的一側緣或兩側緣,描繪有線狀 記號5。如第6 ( b )圖所示,捲繞片狀製品1而形成滾 筒6 ’則記號5是從側面觀看成游渦狀。在紙等,則除掉 施有記號5之部分,成爲分成長度方向地被使用。 第7圖是表示被揭示於日本特開平9 — 3 0 4 2 9 5 號公報的片狀製品的缺點記號裝置的記號的想法。在該習 知技術中,對於光學地檢測缺點部位的檢測手段,朝寬度 方向可移動配設於片狀製品1的搬運方向的下游側的記號 裝置。依據檢測手段所檢測的缺點部位的位置資訊,朝寬 度方向的缺點位置移動記號裝置的筆,以缺點部位近旁被 搬運至的任筆的位置的時機,進行筆前端接觸於片狀製品 1表面的控制。藉由此種控制,可將記號7直接標號在片 狀製品1表面的缺陷位置。 (發明欲解決之課題) 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 但是,在表示於第6,7圖的缺陷記號方法,一般使 用油性油墨或水性油墨的噴墨式或使用接觸式筆等,藉將 著色油墨附著在缺陷部分近旁俾進行缺陷的認識,惟在片 狀製品上施以記號之後,若在後續製程中藥劑處理片狀製 品,使得施以記號的油墨有滲入、消失之虞。又藉片狀製 品與其他構件接觸也有記號被擦掉而消失之虞。作爲上述 後續製程,例如製造偏光板之際,有以鹼溶液鹼化原料構 件的製程等。 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(21〇〆297公釐) -5- 555970 A7 B7 五、發明説明0 ) (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) 又,在如第6圖所示地對於寬度方向的端部施以記號 ’在片狀製品1施加有記號5的長度範圍,只能得到缺陷 3存在於寬度方向之何處作爲資訊。所以進行切掉側緣部 的開縫或修整,則記號5之部分被切斷,對於缺陷3的位 置的資訊會完全消失。因此,作爲片狀製品1欲細小地切 斷時,首先須除去在長度方向施有記號5的部分。 然而,在長度方向須除去部分,有包括缺陷3之同時 ,也存在很多未檢測有缺陷的良好部分。若除去很多良好 部分,則會降低製品的良品率。又,若在細小地切斷的製 程前,先將片狀製品1在長度方向切斷,則無法連續地進 行細小地切斷的製程,因而會降低生產性。 經濟部智慧財產局員工消費合作社印製 在如第7圖所示地對於缺點部位施以直接性之記號, 則無法反映缺陷3對於寬度方向的存在範圍的資訊,在帶 狀地連續的片狀製品1的製程中,受到滾筒等的影響,缺 陷3是在寬度方向產生具有某一程度的長度,或是產生在 寬度方向的複數部位的可能性。對於也須要有關於此種寬 度方向的資訊之情形,如揭示於日本特開平 9 - 3 0 4 2 9 5號公報,在移動筆而直接在缺點部位施 以記號的想法,只能在寬度方向僅能在一部位施以記號。 所以在切斷片狀製品1而切出一定形狀的區劃部分時,即 使存在缺陷3也會分成有施以記號7的區劃部分與未施加 的區劃,而對於未施以記號7的區劃部分並不知道存有缺 陷3,有被判斷爲沒有缺陷3之虞。 本發明的主要目的是在於提供一種在後續製程的可確 本紙張尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210〆297公釐) -6 -
