Abstract
本發明揭示了一種電連接器,其包括絕緣本體和安裝於絕緣本體的端子模組,所述絕緣本體設有用於供一對接元件***配合的插槽,所述端子模組包括絕緣塊和固定於絕緣塊的複數端子,所述絕緣塊固定於絕緣本體,每一端子包括固定於絕緣塊的固持部、自固持部一端延伸入插槽內的接觸部以及自固持部另一端延伸出的焊接部,所述複數端子包括複數訊號端子和複數接地端子,其中所述端子模組還包括一體成型於絕緣塊上的導電塑膠,所述導電塑膠電性連接複數接地端子。
Description
本發明涉及一種電連接器,尤其涉及一種可增強高頻性能的電連接器。
與本發明相關的習知技術之一,請參考2017年5月2日公告的美國專利第US9640915B2號,其公開了一種利用金屬彈片連接接地端子的電連接器。衝壓形成的金屬彈片與接地端子之間的接觸不夠穩定。
與本發明相關的習知技術之二,請參考2012年12月5日公告的中國大陸專利第CN202585857U號,其公開了一種利用導電塑膠與接地端子連接的高速連接器。
本發明所欲解決的技術問題在於:提供一種電連接器,其能增強高頻性能表現。
為解決上述問題,本發明可採用如下技術方案:
一種電連接器,其包括絕緣本體和安裝於絕緣本體的端子模組,所述絕緣本體設有用於供一對接元件***配合的插槽,所述端子模組包括絕緣塊和固定於絕緣塊的複數端子,所述絕緣塊固定於絕緣本體,每一端子包括固定於絕緣塊的固持部、自固持部一端延伸入插槽內的接觸部以及自固持部另一端延伸出的焊接部,所述複數端子包括複數訊號端子和複數接地端子,其中所述端子模組還包括一體成型於絕緣塊上的導電塑膠,所述導電塑膠電性連接複數接地端子。
與習知技術相比,本發明具有如下功效:由於導電塑膠一體成型於絕緣塊,導電塑膠與接地端子接觸更加緊密可靠,從而遮罩效果更好,進而增強了電連接器的高頻性能。
請一併參閱第一圖至第十圖,一種電連接器100,其可連接對接元件200和外部電路板300。在本實施例中,對接元件200為電子卡,電連接器100為卡緣連接器。電連接器100包括絕緣本體10、安裝於絕緣本體10的端子模組20和抓板件30。
絕緣本體10具有主體部11和連接於主體部11縱長兩側的肩部12。主體部11設有沿豎直方向平行延伸的兩側壁111、連接於兩側壁111縱長兩側的端壁112、頂面113以及與頂面113相對設置的底面114。每一側壁111向內凸伸有複數間隔肋115以及複數端子槽116,每一端子槽116形成於相鄰兩間隔肋115之間。主體部11設有位於間隔肋115下方的安裝槽117和由兩排間隔肋限定形成的插槽118,所述安裝槽117向下貫穿底面114,所述插槽118向上貫穿頂面113。安裝槽117的寬度大於所述插槽118的寬度,安裝槽117的長度大於所述插槽118的長度。
每一肩部12設有沿豎直方向貫穿之固持槽121,抓板件30沿從上向下的方向***並固定至固持槽121。絕緣本體10還設有自其底面向下凸伸出的定位柱13,外部電路板300設有用於定位柱13***安裝之定位孔301和用於抓板件30***之固定孔302。
端子模組20從下向上組裝固定至絕緣本體10,端子模組20包括絕緣塊21和固定於絕緣塊21的複數端子22。絕緣塊21收容於安裝槽117內且與絕緣本體10干涉配合,從而固定於絕緣本體10。複數端子22分別***至相應端子槽116內,每一端子22包括固定於絕緣塊21的固持部225、自固持部225一端延伸入插槽118內的接觸部226以及自固持部225另一端延伸出的焊接部227。接觸部226用於夾持和接觸對接元件200,焊接部227用於焊接至外部電路板300。複數端子22包括複數訊號端子22S和複數接地端子22G,端子模組20還包括一體成型於絕緣塊21的導電塑膠23,導電塑膠23電性連接所有接地端子22G。
參第九圖,導電塑膠23包括連接於兩排端子22之間的中間部分230,所述中間部分230與兩排端子22中的接地端子22G物理並電性連接。導電塑膠23包括位於每排端子22外側的外肩部239,所述外肩部239與兩排端子22中的接地端子22G物理並電性連接。接地端子22G的正反兩面,都與導電塑膠23接觸,從而增加了接地端子22G與導電塑膠23接觸的接觸面,多點接地,從而接地遮罩效果更好。
絕緣塊21包括第一絕緣塊211和第二絕緣塊212,複數端子22包括第一排端子221和第二排端子222,導電塑膠23包括第一導電塑膠231和第二導電塑膠232。端子模組20包括沿寬度方向配合的第一端子模組24和第二端子模組25,第一端子模組24包括第一絕緣塊211和固定於第一絕緣塊211的第一排端子221,第二端子模組25包括第二絕緣塊212和固定於第二絕緣塊212的第二排端子222。
第一絕緣塊211注塑成型於第一排端子221,第二絕緣塊212注塑成型於第二排端子222。然後,第一導電塑膠231注塑成型於第一絕緣塊211,藉此將第一排端子221中的所有接地端子22G物理和電性連接在一起。第一導電塑膠231包括分別成型於第一絕緣塊211內外兩側面上的第一部分235和第二部分236。第二導電塑膠232注塑成型於第二絕緣塊212,藉此將第二排端子222中所有接地端子22G物理和電性連接在一起。第二導電塑膠232包括分別成型於第二絕緣塊212內外兩側面上的第三部分237和第四部分238。接著將第一端子模組24和第二端子模組25沿寬度方向組裝在一起,第一導電塑膠231和第二導電塑膠232物理和電性連接在一起,從而將第一排端子221和第二排端子222中的所有接地端子22G連接在一起形成接地回路。由於,導電塑膠23係藉由注塑成型的一體成型至端子模組20上,不但使得導電塑膠23與端子模組20上的接地端子22G接觸更加緊密可靠,且簡單了製造流程,從而藉此增加電連接器100的高頻性能的同時還能降低製造成本。第一導電塑膠231的第二部分236與第二導電塑膠232的第三部分237物理接觸,即第一導電塑膠231和第二導電塑膠232電性連接在一起,從而將兩排端子22中的所有接地端子22G連接在一起形成接地回路,從而進一步增強了遮罩效果且提高了電連接器100的高頻表現性能。
第一絕緣塊211和第二絕緣塊212都設有將接地端子22G暴露於空氣外的通槽26,第一導電塑膠231和第二導電塑膠232各自填充至相應通槽26內。第一絕緣塊211和第二絕緣塊212均設有方便第一導電塑膠231和第二導電塑膠232注塑成型之導槽27,所述導槽27與通槽26相貫通。通槽26和導槽27的設置方便了第一導電塑膠231和第二導電塑膠232的注塑成型。
綜上所述,本發明確已符合發明專利之要件,爰依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述僅為本發明之較佳實施方式,自不能以此限定本發明之權利範圍。舉凡所屬技術領域中具有通常知識者爰依本發明之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆仍涵蓋於後附之申請專利範圍內。

Claims (10)
- 一種電連接器,其包括絕緣本體和安裝於絕緣本體的端子模組,所述絕緣本體設有用於供一對接元件***配合的插槽,所述端子模組包括絕緣塊和固定於絕緣塊的複數端子,所述絕緣塊固定於絕緣本體,每一端子包括固定於絕緣塊的固持部、自固持部一端延伸入插槽內的接觸部以及自固持部另一端延伸出的焊接部,所述複數端子包括複數訊號端子和複數接地端子,其中所述端子模組還包括一體成型於絕緣塊的導電塑膠,所述導電塑膠電性連接複數接地端子。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述絕緣塊設有將接地端子暴露於空氣外的通槽,所述導電塑膠填充至通槽內。
- 如申請專利範圍第2項所述之電連接器,其中所述導電塑膠注塑成型於絕緣塊,所述絕緣塊設有方便導電塑膠注塑成型的導槽,所述導槽與通槽相貫通。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述絕緣本體設有沿縱長方向延伸的兩側壁,每一側壁設有複數端子槽,所述複數端子包括分別安裝於兩側壁端子槽的兩排端子,所述導電塑膠包括連接於兩排導電端子之間的中間部分,所述中間部分與兩排端子中的接地端子物理並電性連接。
- 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之電連接器,其中所述導電塑膠包括位於每排端子外側的外肩部,所述外肩部與兩排端子中的接地端子物理並電性連接。
- 如申請專利範圍第4項所述之電連接器,其中所述絕緣本體包括自側壁向內延伸的複數間隔肋,縱長方向的相鄰間隔肋之間形成一所述端子槽,所述絕緣本體包括位於間隔肋下方的安裝槽,所述絕緣塊收容於安裝槽內且與絕緣本體干涉配合。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之電連接器,其中所述安裝槽的寬度大於所述插槽的寬度,所述安裝槽的長度大於所述插槽的長度。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述端子模組包括沿寬度方向配合的第一端子模組和第二端子模組,所述第一端子模組包括第一絕緣塊和固定於第一絕緣塊的第一排端子,所述第二端子模組包括第二絕緣塊和固定於第二絕緣塊的第二排端子,所述導電塑膠包括注塑成型於第一絕緣塊上的第一導電塑膠和注塑成型於第二絕緣塊上的第二導電塑膠,所述第一導電塑膠與第一排端子中的接地端子物理和電性連接,所述第二導電塑膠與第二排端子中的接地端子物理和電性連接。
- 如申請專利範圍第8項所述之電連接器,其中所述第一絕緣塊注塑成型於第一排端子上,所述第二絕緣塊注塑成型於第二排端子上,所述第一導電塑膠和第二導電塑膠物理和電性連接。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述絕緣本體包括主體部和連接於主體部縱長兩側的肩部,所述插槽設置於主體部,所述肩部安裝有用固定至外部電路板的抓板件。
