Abstract

一種自行車座墊之製法,該座墊具有一底殼,一表皮層以及一彈性填充層,該製法所使用之模具包含有一上模及一下模,二者以可於一開啟位置以及一閉合位置活動的方式樞接在一起,該上模具有一模台,該下模具有一模穴。該製法包含如下之步驟:預熱該模具至溫度介於30℃與60℃之間;開啟該模具位至該開啟位置;塗佈一層離形劑於該上模模台表面以及該下模模穴表面;噴塗一第一塑膠物料層於該已具有該離形劑層之該下模模穴表面用以形成一座墊表皮層;以可脫離的方式將一座墊殼架佈置於該上模模台上;灌填一第二層塑膠物料於該下模模穴內;閉合該上、下模並維持一段時間,用以使該第二塑膠物料層形成該彈性填充層;以及開啟該模具,取出該製成品。

Description

自行車座墊之製法
本發明係與自行車座墊有關,特別是關於一種前述自行車座墊之製法。
傳統的自行車座墊通常係由三個部件所組成,其一是做為整體座墊支撐的殼架(frame),另一是外界接觸的表皮層(covering),再一是佈置於前述二者之間的彈性填充體(filler)。該表皮層在製造上目前一般是取用已製成的合成塑膠皮料或布料,然後再以人工方式將之包覆於該彈性填充體表面。例如美國第5,904,396號專利案所揭示的技術,從該案的說明書以及所附圖式可以非常清楚的知道,其座墊10之表皮14是取用已製成的布料。另外,美國第8,236,218號專利案所揭示的製法中,如其說明書之所做的說明以及該案第九圖所示,可以發現其座墊之表皮6是取用已製成的塑膠皮料。前述製法的缺點之一是表皮層與彈性填充體結合度不佳,二者容易脫離;另一缺點是由於表皮層是取用製成品,因此厚度受到限制;再者,要將表皮層包覆於彈性填充體表面時,工序繁雜而且耗費工時。
本發明所提供的自行車座墊之製法,就是用來解決前述習知製法的缺點,其中依此製法製成的座墊至少具有一底殼,一表皮層以及一彈性填充層佈置於二者之間。另外,此製法會使用到一模具,該模具包含有一上模及一下模,二者係樞接在一起而可於一開啟位置以及一閉合位置之間活動。該上模具有一模台,該下模具有一相對於該模台之模穴。該自行車座墊之製法包含有如下之步驟:預熱該模具至溫度介於30℃與60℃之間;開啟該模具至位於該開啟位置;塗佈一離形劑層於該上模模台表面以及該下模模穴表面;噴塗一第一塑膠物料層於該已具有該離形劑層之該下模模穴表面用以形成一座墊表皮層;以可脫離的方式將一座墊殼架佈 置於該上模模台上;灌填一第二層塑膠物料層於該下模模穴內,該第二層塑膠物料層包含有塑膠發泡物料;閉合該上、下模並維持一段時間,用以使該第二塑膠物料層發泡成形為該彈性填充層;以及開啟該模具,取出該製成品。
前揭製法之一實施例中,於形成該表皮層之步驟前,更包含有一噴塗一著色層於該離形劑層表面之步驟。
前揭製法之再一實施例中,該離形劑層係採用矽樹酯乳液(silicone emulsion),而該模具則是維持於約攝氏50度。
前揭製法之另一實施例中,所取用的著色塗料是市售含PU的色料,第一塑膠物料層係包含有PU物料,在噴塗時係將該物料維持於攝氏65度~75度之間,並且將噴塗量控制在使該表皮層之厚度維持在07mm~1.2mm,此等厚度可以提供對內部彈性填充層的保護以及乘坐者的舒適度。該第二塑膠物料層包含有PU發泡物。該第一塑膠物料層與該第二塑膠物料層之組成成份係為本發明技術領域之人士所熟知的通常技術,因此此處就不予贅述。另外,該二種塑膠物料在噴塗時,最好有一時間差,用以在噴塗該第二塑膠物料層時,該第一塑膠物料層係維持於尚未完全硬化的狀態,該時間差約為60秒~90秒。

以下茲舉一本發明製法之較佳實施例並配合若干圖式做進一步的說明,其中:第一圖為依據本發明製法一較佳實施例製成的自行車座墊的立體圖;第二圖為第一圖所示自行車座墊在2-2方向上的剖視圖;第三圖為本發明製法之一較佳實施例所使用的模具以及噴塗第一塑膠物料用以形成表皮層之示意圖;第四圖為本發明製法之一較佳實施例灌填第二塑膠物料之示意圖;以及第五圖為本發明製法之一較佳實施例模具閉合後進行發泡成型過程之部分剖視示意圖。
首先請參閱第一、二圖,圖號10所示者即為依據本發明製 法一較佳實施例製成的自行車座墊,座墊10具有一底殼12,一彈性填充層14,以及一表皮層16。
再請參閱第三圖至第五圖,這些圖式僅用來說明本發明製法一較佳實施例的施作過程,但並非用來限制本發明製法的申請專利範圍。
本實施例之模具如第三圖圖號20所示,具有一上模22以及一下模24。上模22與一下模24係藉一樞接裝置26樞接在一起,用以使二者可於一開啟位置及一閉合位置間活動。上模22具有一模台222,下模24具有一模穴242,當模具10位於該閉合位置時,模台222與模穴242會界定出一密閉模室。
以下茲詳述本實施例的施作過程,此製法首先是將模具20預熱至介於攝氏45度~60度之間;接著於模台222表面與模穴242表面均噴塗一含有矽乳液的離形劑層,其用處是使後製的成型物易於脫模,這是熟悉該等技術人士所知悉的,在此就不贅述。繼之,將具預定顏色之PU著色塗料噴塗於已具有該離形劑層之模台222與模穴242表面形成一著色層。在前述各施作步驟之後,接著是藉由適當的噴塗設備30將適當劑量且含PU物料的第一塑膠物料40噴塗於已具有該著色層的模穴242表面用以形成一座墊表皮層16。本實施例在噴塗時係將該第一塑膠物料40維持於攝氏65度~75度之間,並且噴塗劑量是控制在使表皮層16之厚度維持在07mm~1.2mm。
繼之,是取用一底殼12以其內表面122面對模穴242的方式將其以可脫離的方式固定於模台222上,如第四圖所示,底殼12通常是以硬質材料製成,例如硬質塑膠材料或纖維補強塑膠複合材料均是選項。接著,就是以適當的灌填設備50將第二塑膠物料60灌填於模穴242內,本實施例的第二塑膠物料60是取用市售含PU發泡物的塑膠物料,其配方係屬習知技術,因此本處亦不予贅述。必須一提的是,於噴塗該第一塑膠物料40之後以及開始灌填該第二塑膠物料60之間最好具有一預定時間差,該時間差係介於60秒~90秒之間。灌填該第二塑膠物料後,係使模具20位於閉合位置並維持約4分鐘~8分鐘。此時,該第二塑膠物料60將於模穴242內發泡成型並與表皮層16及底殼12貼附在一起而形成彈性填充層14。最後則是打開模具取出成品的自行車座墊10,當然在取出之前或後會進行一 些修飾工作,例如修邊,由於這些工序均與本發明製法無關,就不再多做說明。

Claims (9)

  1. 一種自行車座墊之製法,該座墊至少具有一底殼,一表皮層以及一彈性填充層佈置於二者之間,該製法所使用之模具包含有一上模及一下模,二者以可於一開啟位置以及一閉合位置活動的方式樞接在一起,該上模具有一模台,該下模具有一相對於該模台之模穴;該製法包含有如下之步驟:預熱該模具至溫度介於30℃與60℃之間;開啟該模具位至該開啟位置;塗佈一離形劑層於該上模模台表面以及該下模模穴表面;噴塗一第一塑膠物料層於該已具有該離形劑層之該下模模穴表面用以形成一座墊表皮層;以可脫離的方式將一座墊殼架佈置於該上模模台上;灌填一第二塑膠物料層於該下模模穴內,該第二塑膠物料層包含有塑膠發泡物料;閉合該上、下模並維持一段時間,用以使該第二塑膠物料層發泡成形為該彈性填充層;以及開啟該模具,取出該製成品。
  2. 如請求項1所述的製法,更包含有噴塗一著色層於該離形劑層上之步驟。
  3. 如請求項1所述的製法,其中該離形劑層為一矽樹酯乳液(silicone emulsion)層。
  4. 如請求項1所述的製法,其中該第一塑膠物料層包含有PU物料。
  5. 如請求項1或4所述的製法,其中該第二塑膠物料層包含有PU發泡物料。
  6. 如請求項5所述的製法,其中在噴塗該第一塑膠物料層時係將該物料維持於攝氏65度~75度之間。
  7. 如請求項1所述的製法,其中該表皮層之厚度係維持在07mm~1.2mm之間。
  8. 如請求項1所述的製法,其中於噴塗該第一塑膠物料層後以及開始灌填該第二塑膠物料層之間具有一預定時間差。
  9. 如請求項8所述的製法,其中該時間差係介於為60秒~90秒之間。
