Abstract

The device, which has trigger mechanisms for diagnosing the source of the problem of BPPV-induced vertigo patients, is designed to put the patient in positions that will trigger nystagmus. The physician selects the desired trigger position from the operator menu of the device and brings the patient to the desired position. In the meantime, it is understood whether the trigger position is the source of the problem by monitoring the nystagmus movement in the patient's eyes. The physician finds the source of the problem by selecting the trigger positions in order from the menu. After the correct diagnosis is made, the device automatically or manually makes the necessary treatment or rehabilitation maneuver for the patient.
