Description

Under the existing method of debris from white tin waste by the electrolytic method, a solution of sodium alkali 100-120 / ./ and tin is used as the electrolyte in terms of 15-20 f / .i metal. In such an electrolyte, it is possible to achieve a current utilization rate of not more than 50%, based on bivalent tin. The rest of the current is wasted.

A method is proposed for the electrolytic decontamination of white tin waste, which proceeds much more intensively by increasing the current utilization rate. For this purpose, the concentration of tin in the electrolyte is increased, which is easily achieved by dissolving tin from the waste tin in a separate apparatus by chemical means.

Tin in the electrolyte very quickly dissolves chemically in the presence of oxygen. For dissolution, it is advisable to use a rotating perforated iron drum, half immersed in the solution. The electrolyte obtained by chemical dissolution, containing up to 40-45 g /, 1 tin, is transferred to electrolysis baths. During electrolysis, the solution is depleted to 30-35 g / l of tin, after which it is again saturated. Since a significant part of the tin is in solution in the form of divalent ions, in order to avoid oxidation, the surface of the electrolyte is filled with a layer of mineral oil. When performing these techniques, it is possible to increase the degree of current utilization up to 90-95%, calculated on bivalent tin.

Subject invention

The method of electrolytic decontamination of white tin waste in an alkaline solution is about the fact that, in order to intensify the process, the concentration of tin in the solution is maintained equal to 40-45 / ze by continuous electrolyte saturation by chemical dissolution of tin from tin waste in separate devices.
