280 . The invention relates to methods for the purification of gases from sulfur dioxide and may be used in the purification of gases in the oil processing, chemical and metal industries. The known method of gas purification from sulfuric anhydride by absorption with example as an absorbent of oil with IO-following regeneration of the absorber. The residue of this method is an insignificant absorbent capacity of 60. The closest to the invention to the technical essence is the method in which the absorption of sulfuric anhydride carried out using dimethyl sulfoxide 2J. The disadvantage of this method is also an insignificant absorbent capacity at 602, not exceeding 0.27 g per 1 g absorber at 20 ° C and low thermal stability of dimethyl sulfoxy, which leads to significant decomposition of the latter at the regeneration stage and complication of the technological process. The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of purification from sulfuric anhydride and simplify the process. The goal is achieved by using as an absorbent a mixture of petroleum sulfoxides with an average molecular weight of 22028 O. Sulfoxides are an oily, clear, brown-colored liquid with a low specific odor, specific gravity of about 1. SOo gases are cleaned in countercurrent-type devices at (-30) 20 ° C. Sulfoxides absorb sulfur dioxide. Almost quantitatively. The regeneration of sulfoxides is carried out at 40-50 ° C by air sparging. Example. Gas, containing 10 vol. % of sulfuric anhydride is passed through a solution of petroleum sulfoxides with an average molecular weight of 220-240 at 20 ° C until the solution is saturated. Then, 3 sulfoxides are regenerated and the amount of absorbed sulfur dioxide is determined, which under these conditions is 0.37 g per 1 g of absorbent. When used as an absorbed mixture of sulfoxides with an average molecular weight of 260, it reaches 0.55 per 1 g of absopent IP absorbent when the amount is better than one. Formula of the Invention A method for purifying gases from sulfuric anhydride by absorption with sulfoxides with 6066 6 4 subsequent regeneration of the absorbent, which is different in that with the aim of increasing the degree of purification and simplifying the technological process, a mixture of petroleum sulfoxides with an average molecular aecoS 22О280.
