Известен способ выт жки полых изделий из листовой заготовки, при котором в процессе деформировани  осуществл ют подачу смазки на поверхность заготовки. При этом пе происходит разделени  поверхности заготовки и матрицы слоем смазки, что приводит к ухудшению условий выт жки и снижению стойкости инструмента. С целью улучшени  условий выт жки в предложенном способе смазку подвод т под фланец заготовки от его периферии к центру непрерывно на прот жении всего процесса выт жки. Способ осуществл ют следующим образом. В процессе выт жки одновременно с началом деформации заготовки 1 (см. чертеж) через дренажный канал 2 и кольцевую канавку 3, расположенную на зеркале матрицы 4 у внещней границы выт жной кромки, подают смазку. Смазка, заполнив кольцевую канавку, смазывает поверхность заготовки, наход щуюс  над кольцевой канавкой, и увлекаетс  с заготовкой к выт жной кромке матрицы 4 и далее на калибрующий по сок. Подвод смазки к выт жной кромке матрицы прекращают только после окончани  процесса выт жки.
