Abstract

FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method provides for preparation of mixture that has at least one metal from IV - VI, XIII groups of Periodic system and at least one nonmetal taken from following row: boron, carbon, silicon in their ratio, that provides mixture independent burning. Then they form blank, exercise thermal vacuum treatment, heat the blank up to 700 - 1050 C, initiate burning in inert gas under pressure of no more than 1.5 MPa, during its burning apply pressure of 0.2 - 3.5 MPa to blank in direction of burning front motion and cool it in medium. Powders of carbide, boride, silicide of at least one metal from IV - VI, VIII groups of Periodic system, powders of oxide nitride of at least one element from III - V groups of Periodic system, powders of metal from I - III groups taken separately or in mixture are additionally introduced in the mixture. In the case powders are introduced in amounts of up to 40 mass %. EFFECT: increased strength of pieces.
