Abstract

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to testing plants using gas-turbine engine as source of compressed air. Plant includes gas-turbine engine 4 built with free turbine and compressed-air brake 5. Compressor is connected to tested combustion chamber 15 with the aid of air supply line 23 which carries shutting-controlling elements 24, 25, 26 and heat exchanger 32. Outlet pipe 12 of compressed air brake 5 communicates with air supply line 23 by means of pipe-line 19 which feeds air. Pipe-line 19 has shutting-controlling elements 20, 21. Plant is fitted with fast-action shutting elements 27, 31 to ensure stable operation of plant. In addition, plant is provided with ejector 28. Its active nozzle is connected to air supply line 23 and its passive nozzle - to pipe-line 19 to feed air. EFFECT: increased efficiency and expanded functional capabilities of the plant. 3 cl, 1 dwg
