Изобретение относитс  к металлообработке, а именно к изготовлению ребристых трубчатых радиаторов. Цель изобретени  - снижение металлоемкости трубчатых радиаторов за счет увеличени  высоты и количества ребер при одновременном уменьшении толщины ребер. Инструмент дл  получени  ребристых трубчатых радиаторов имеет вид сегмента 1 трубчатой формы с базовой цилиндрической частью 2, крепежными отверсти ми 3 и режущей частью, режуща  кромка 4 которой получена пересечением задней рабочей поверхности 5 и передней рабочей поверхности 6. Задн   поверхность 5 образована конической поверхностью 7, а передн   поверхность 6 - конической винтовой поверхностью 8, /косым геликоидом/ соосной конической поверхности 7. Режуща  кромка 4, образованна  пересечением двух конических поверхностей 7 и 8, одна из которых винтова , будет иметь форму винтовой линии на конической поверхности 7 с шагом, несколько превышающим шаг винтовой поверхности 8, а следовательно, и шаг необходимого оребрени , дл  которого предназначен инструмент. Выполнение рабочих поверхностей в виде конических, передн   из которых имеет винтовую форму, позвол ет достичь в инструменте максимальных передних углов, одинаковых во всех сечени х режущей кромки, что  вл етс  важным фактором дл  достижени  минимальных сил резани  и усадки подрезаемых слоев. 4 ил.The invention relates to metal working, in particular to the manufacture of ribbed tubular radiators.
