Description
The invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to the creation of materials with high strength, wear resistance and tempering resistance, along with high characteristics of hardness and toughness, applicable, in particular, to a die landing tool. Known steel BHS, 6HB2S SP.Odnako these steels are low resistance against tempering. Closest to the invention in technical essence and the achieved effect is die-cutting steel C2 composition, wt.%: The disadvantages of the known steel are low tensile strength, wear resistance and tempering stability. The purpose of the invention is to increase the strength, wear resistance and resistance against tempering. The goal is achieved by the fact that die steel containing carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, nickel, tungsten, vanadium, titanium, boron, aluminum, rare earth metals, calcium and iron, additionally contains molybdenum in the following ratio of components, wt.% : Carbon 0.37-0.55 0.4-0.9 Silicon 0.8-1.2 Manganese 1.6-2.0 Nickel 0.9-1.4 0.4-0.9 Tungsten 0, 1-0.4 Vanadium 0.1-0.25 0.005-0.01. Aluminum 0.05-0.1 Rare-earth metals 0,015-0,3 Metals Calcium 0.001-0.01 0.4-0.7 Molybdenum Iron Rest Additional doping of the proposed steel with molybdenum and its higher content of chromium and nickel provides it with higher strength properties , wear resistance and resistance against tempering. The steel has optimal properties with a total content of chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium and titanium of at least 3.5% by weight. The chemical composition of the investigated bottoms of the proposed and known steels and the properties corresponding to them are listed in the table.

Heating to 1170-10 ° C was carried out in a chlorobarium bath. Isothermal hardening was carried out in oil (180 °) or saltpeter () with a holding time of 1 h.
Weight wear is determined after 100,000 revolutions of the roller 3010 mm with 10% slip at a specific pressure between the rollers of 25 kgf / mm on the machine MI-Sh.
